This incident caused the temporary closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
